How do I get the best out of my Black Opal mascara?
Frank Guyton: For semi-straight lashes, hold the mascara brush horizontally, rolling the wand upward and outward. For curly lashes-apply mascara vertically, moving the wand from left to right.

How do I work with the shades in the new Mineral Mosaic Eye shadow?
Frank Guyton: The palettes were created to give women of color vibrant, bold and beautiful shades that can create many different looks. Each palette contains a mixture of subtle and neutral shades for a soft daytime look or you can amp it up at night with the darker richer shades with a hint of metallic shimmer for a dramatic look. Here are two ways to create a classic smoky eye for day and night:
  • Day: Apply the medium shade on the lid, use the darker shade for contouring the crease and stroke towards outer lid, and highlight the brow area with lighter shades.
  • Night: Apply the lightest shadow from the lid to the brow bone. Sweep the medium-shade shadow back and forth in the crease. Apply the darkest color all over the eyelid or just at the outer corners.
Also, don’t be shy to play with the colors. Add a pop of vibrant color to the eyelid, like teal blue from Caribbean Blue, dark green from Rainforest or plum from Zanzibar.
I have thin eyebrows but would like them to look fuller. How do I use the Brow Shaper?
Frank Guyton: Using our Brow Shaper powder is easy. Dip the angled brush in the eye shadow. Brush the powder along the brows carefully blending in the color. If you want an all-day staying powder, slightly dampen the brush before dipping it into color.
